“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.” ― Julia Child

Cupcakes 1

I can’t believe that I set on with this blog over four years ago.  I had big plans for it.  I was going to talk about how much I love baking and offer words of advice with my experiences.  That all changed when I was diagnosed with a bunch of allergies, including Celiac disease as well as allergies to tree nuts, peanuts, seafood, beef, strawberries, melons and a bunch of other food.  It was frustrating at first.  I had no idea what I was doing and during that time I could only find food at Whole Foods.  I became that “girl” who listed her million and one allergies to the waiter and was paranoid that my food was being cross contaminated.

Things have changed in the last four plus years.  I consider myself a well seasoned gluten free cook/baker.  I have found what works for me and what others will eat when I am entertaining.  I’ve come a long way, although part of me is still paranoid when eating out or at other people’s houses.

After the suggestion of friends and colleagues, I went back to the idea of a blog.  I hadn’t done much with this page.  I want to keep it updated and share information that has worked for me.  Believe me when I say I have worked hard to find tasty food through a lot of trail and error.

I love cooking and baking in my free time.  I want to share my journey and thoughts with other out there.  I know there are a billion other sites out there, but I’m going to try and share my experiences with everyone out there.  I’m going to try and update every few days.

This site is phase two of my journey.
